Killing is ugly and cruel, no matter why it happens. [There is a beauty, she knows, in death; in transition. But taking life, stealing potential and ending hope - it's a dark, vile thing.

Her voice lowers.]


And when a part of you - when a part of you wants that, revels in it, it's worse. [A hard swallow.] But that doesn't mean that's who you are. [There's a hint of desperation, now, in her voice.]
